How can you not like some synth pop punky music with an Irish girl singing beautifully and then screaming her head off.
That is the track "Jake Summers". It is the lead track on there new EP which is released this week in the UK.
I must admit that the character Jake Summers, who is from an apparently cult TV series that I am completely unfamiliar with, would not normally spark my interest.
However, if it inspired Fight Like Apes to create this wonderful song then it can't be that bad.

This is on Mondays to Thursdays from 10pm to 1am in the UK and online and "listen again". Fight Like Apes are in session up until Thursday Sep 27. The session tracks are normally played out around 11.15.
Jake Summers was the track last night (Tuesday). They managed to deliver a wonderful version of this song. Although I thought May Kay, the dreamy screamy singer did appear to me to be singing in an American accent.
